Our Easter Celebration

The Easter Pageant
to the Mesa Temple with Andrea, Kristin and baby Ayden.
We got seats for everyone. It was so exciting
when I saw Mellisa and her boys
and Crystal and her children come walking up the sidewalk.
I was so relieved that they made it from Albuquerque.
I was so relieved that they made it from Albuquerque.
Makayla was so happy to see everyone.
Jaxon, Alec and Dante were silly boys who had been full
of life and energy on the entire trip to Mesa.
They were glad to be out of the car.

It was wonderful to sit there and watch the pageant with them.
I sat by Crystal and held Mya on my lap as we watched
the life of the Savior acted out.
What a feeling of love and peace!
I love the Savior and I love my family.
These are the two great loves of my life. What a blessing!

The Lamb Cake
I didn't like them because they had raisins and nuts besides it was
a dry hard carrot cake, BUT they were so cute with fluffy frosting
and coconut. I inherited Grandma's lamb cake mold. SO I decide to
make one for Easter. It is harder then it looks to make. When I
took it out of the oven the lamb had no ears so I took cake from
some cupcakes, made ears then glued them on. When I
told Hayze she looked surprised, "Grammy what kind of glue
did you use?" I told her it was frosting glue. Then Hayze
helped finish frosting the outside, color the cocnut and add jelly
beans. She is the real treat in this picture with her sweet SMILE.

Marley said, I spy with my little brown eye . . . baby Ayden at 13 months, trying to put on his own shoes. Smart baby!
Marley said, I spy with my little brown eye . . . a brand new silver tooth in my own mouth!
