The Lamb Cake

When I was a child, Grandma Reese would make us lamb cakes.

I didn't like them because they had raisins and nuts besides it was
a dry hard carrot cake, BUT they were so cute with fluffy frosting
and coconut. I inherited Grandma's lamb cake mold. SO I decide to
make one for Easter. It is harder then it looks to make. When I
took it out of the oven the lamb had no ears so I took cake from
some cupcakes, made ears then glued them on. When I
told Hayze she looked surprised, "Grammy what kind of glue
did you use?" I told her it was frosting glue. Then Hayze
helped finish frosting the outside, color the cocnut and add jelly
beans. She is the real treat in this picture with her sweet SMILE.

I Spy With My Little Blue Eye

When Adisyn can steal into my office she pulls Aunt Sarah's magnifying glass out of my desk drawer, holds it up to her eye and says, "I spy with my little eye." Someday I want to write a book about it but for now I am going to blog about what Adisyn spy's with her little blue eye. At least it will be printed in the book at the end of the year!

WOW what is this? I spy with my little blue eye. . . the chocolate bunny outside and the white Honey bunny! What is up with that?
I spy with my little blue eye . . . that wild chocolate bunny got into Grammy's Spring photo blocks. He's going to get in trouble. Twelve years ago, when Breana was 4, she was in Albuquerque for Uncle Loren's baptism. He did something that made her mad and she said, "You Chocolate Bunny!" A few years later, he mailed each of us a velvety smooth stuffed chocolate bunny. All these years later it still smells like chocolate!

Marley said, I spy with my little brown eye. . . a black super hero? Nope, it's Derek all decked out in his safety equipment riding his go cart.
