One of The Best Days Ever

When Hayze comes I try to get the other cousins, Taysja, Marley & Adisyn, so we can create some memories. Today we made whole wheat cinnamon rolls and bread. They loved to watch the wheat disappear into the wheat grinder, help add the ingredients to the dough and play in the flour. They each got their own dough to make their own cinnamon rolls and then Taysja came up with the idea to braid the bread and it looked like something Martha Stewart would make. Hayze said today was her best day ever, much better then her worst. It was when she slipped in her new boots in the lunch room and food went everywhere even on her! Today, Hayze made play dough from scratch but I wouldn't let her put lotion in it. I really appreciated when these sweet little granddaughters helped me decoration for Spring. I loved watching them play ring around the rosy and listening to the music of their youthful laughter. We went to Mel's and picked up Livi then headed to the city park. We sat in the shredded rubber stamps, as we pushed Livi in the baby swing, Taysja said how easily babies are entertained. I said, "Well, watch how easily you are entertained." Then I covered my eyes and played peek a boo with Taysja who laughed so hard it made me laugh! It was FUN to LAUGH out loud and forget about problems and pain. I took these pictures except for the last one. Tayjsa took it with her phone. These granddaughters of mine got the brainy idea to bury me in the rubber stamps at the playground. Taysja said, "I can't believe an 11 year old can bury an OLDER woman!" Thanks Tays! When we went home we enjoyed eating the fruits of our labor. Marley said the bread tasted like the Three Bears! Also, we drank chocolate milk from the play dishes. It was one of my BEST days ever to spend with these precious daughters of God.

The Farmer- Grandpa T

Sunday, Adisyn and I went to the field with Farmer Terril to feed the horses. I took my camera and got some great pictures for a book I want to write someday. But for now, I think this a nice reminder of what I should be doing with my children and grandchildren. I want to walk beside them.

Down at the Farm

Grandpa T. teaches Adisyn that Fab's is a pretty nice horse, as they pet her together. It was a fun day to watch Grandpa feed the horses and get first hand experience of life at the farm.

The Cousins at Ayden's Birthday

What a shot! You have no idea what it took to get this picture unless you were there. Bottom row: Derek, Taysja, Dexton & Hayze. Next row: Marley, Connor & Adisyn. The top row are the babies; Birthday Boy Ayden, Baby Violet and Livi (Alyvia) It was quite a struggle getting all 10 of them to look, smile and stay in place. They are precious little ones.

My Girls at Ayden's Birthday

I love my family and this picture which was taken in Kristin's kitchen in St. George at Ayden's first birthday party on Valentines Day. These girls are my Valentines!!! Andrea came from Queen Creek Arizona, Shelly Jo from Cedar City, Melanie from Kanab, and Kristin was the hostess, sad little Marley Moo and Sheldon brought Hayze down from Payson. We were so blessed to have everyone safely travel so far for this wonderful celebration.

The Budget Inn & Suites

It was a wild and crazy night to take these kids to St. George on Valentines, Parade of Homes and Presidents Day weekend. The pool was packed! Marley was sick in the night and I got to sleep or should I say stay with four of these kids in a motel room! Taysja is holding baby Violet, Adisyn, Connor, Dexton, Derek and Marley hanging over the rail

Muddy Bre

At first glance you may think that Breana has a bad case of acne, well it is really mud spluttered on her lovely face from her messy ride to the TV towers on the four wheeler with her friend and cousin Alexa Crosby. They were kind enough to go to the car wash and spray off the four wheeler. Actually I think they were very responsible!!!

The Grammy Touch

I learned from Becca Ott to sign my photos, so I created a signature. Let me know what you think. When I was in Texas in November 2008, I was unloading  groceries at Crystal's when 9 year old Jaxon said, "It looks like the Grammy touch." So actually Jaxon came up this photo signature. Thanks Jax Man!!! I took this cute picture of baby Ayden a week before his first birthday.

Ayden at the Well

These were some cute pictures of Baby Ayden. He got tried of me and Kristin saying to him, "Baby Ayden. Smile. Baby Ayden, Meow, Meow," we did that because he likes to hear what the kitty says. As you can see, he is such a sweet good natured baby.

Our Baby's Baby is Turning One

Saturday, February 14, 2009 will be Baby Ayden's first birthday. He certainly has endured a years of picture taking and here are some more pics to add to the mix. These were literally the coolest ever since they were taken outside at the Green Gate Village and he was holding on the cold hard steel!

My FIRST Jive from the Hive

WOW, this is history in the making. Who would have thought that I could type in a little box on a silver apple laptop, paste in a picture then have my family in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and Utah come together in their homes and share the Jive from the Hive!!! AWESOME!!! Mrs. Morril, my yearbook teacher and Mrs. Nichols my typing teacher would be impressed! Here goes my first post. It is now Monday, February, 9, 2009 at 12:45 Hey it's Julie's 53rd birthday. And this five minute thing has turned into 45 minutes.

Crystal's Lubbock Birthday

January 31, 2009, Terril and I flew to Lubbock and rented a car, then drove to Crystal's work because we wanted to surprise her. BUT the surprise was on us, since she was already at home and had the kids with her. We were glad to help with Crystal's moving project back to Lubbock. It was a GREAT time helping set up house. Makayla and I laughed as we looked at old pictures and put stickers on each other. Mya and I got all decked out with purses and sunglasses to go out to dinner. Jaxon was our navigator all over Lubbock for us country bumpkins! At nine, he did a better job then most adults could do - awesome Jax! Crystal and Terril hung, unloaded and moved things to get her settled. Sunday while a roast dinner was cooking for Crystal's birthday, we all went to church. What a wonderful experience to all sit together. Mya drew a picture of how she wants her baptism dress to look. Makayla wrote me and Grandpa thank notes and Jaxon and I played add on. I saved all of these in my journal since they make me happy. After church we ate dinner, had birthday cookie and ice cream then made an all about me poster for Jaxon. On our way to the airport I had a BAD map from the Internet. We made a wrong turn and Jaxon knew immediately that we were going the wrong way. I got the good map out and we got back on track and made it home. It was a busy, fast, memorable trip.
